Does anyone know what it means to dream of the ocean with big waves?

I often dream with oceans that are very agitated and have big waves and I am running away from them. does anyone know what this might mean?

Mostly it just says that there could be disasters in you business life which you are running from, otherwise more domestic issues which you wish you could run away from at the moment.

I also found a dream interpreter’s website where she answers a question about a tidal wave, similar to your dream. Here is a brief extract:

    Your subconscious is revealing fear in the form of the ocean with big waves. The reason that your actual fear is not revealed in your dream is that it must be to great for you to accept or handle. This is natures way of protecting you. Our dreams and subconscious are powerful in this way. Since it is symbolized as something as big as an ocean and it occurs often, your fear must be very intense. What is it that you fear so much? Try to rationalize this great fear and deal with it and begin having dreams of calm waters.
