Big waves breaking in Westport, WA. These swells created 10 foot faces up the coast. Tourists come from hundreds of miles to watch the waves break on the many granite jetties in the Westport area. Big surf is very dangerous so exercise caution when large waves are breaking. A large rip current can also exist when big waves are breaking repeatedly, again be careful as rip currents kill many people every year.
